Shakespeare in the Streets Sonnet Walks return to Bury St Edmunds!

After the resounding success of the sell-out Sonnet Walks during the last two years last year, they’re back. Similar idea, slightly different route, all new performances to keep you on your toes…

Created especially for the Bury Festival by a host of local professional actors, artists and musicians, it’s Shakespeare – and Bury – as you’ve never seen it before!

Setting off in small groups every 15 minutes, you will walk a guided route exploring some of the hidden (and not so hidden) secrets of our town’s past and present. You’ll encounter performers along the way and you’ll never know what to expect.

The booking office and online bookings will stop selling tickets at midday on the day of the event. Any uncollected pre-booked tickets can be picked up from the venue on arrival.
