Shakespeare in the Streets Liverpool 2010
24 and 25 April

Shakespeare’s sonnets are some of the most beautiful, heart-felt love poetry ever-written – this unique performance is your chance to discover love hidden on the streets of Liverpool.

Shakespeare in the Streets is a celebration of all things romantic and Shakespearean by local actors, artists and musicians who will bring the poems to life before your very eyes.  Setting off in small groups you will follow a guided route beginning at the Unity Theatre and taking in some hidden gems of Liverpool’s history alongside more contemporary secrets. You’ll encounter performers along the way and you’ll never know what to expect. This is Shakespeare as you’ve never seen it before: funny, fresh, explosive and always surprising.
